• Country of birth (required for everyone) + trading country (required for 3% / monthly traders; optional for Education / learners) at registration on web and mobile.
• Compliance defaults to your trading country. When birth ≠ trading, choose trading only or dual (e.g. SA CIPC/SARS + home-country rules).
• SA rails only when SA is in scope — informal PAYE/UIF is not forced on pure non-SA traders.
• Mother-tongue OS — English / mother tongue / both for system replies; language-aware support queues and voice STT.
